Abstract

This paper presents an IoT based approach which will Sense and identify gestures of the physically challenged people. The
proposed wearable device helps all kind of paralyzed people except quadriplegia and people who can’t talk can handle the
electronic devices like fan, bulb, speaker…etc. Generally, we should allot a person to monitor the patient and to satisfy
minimum needs of the patient, as they can't perform their daily activities due to their affected part of their body. With the
help of proposed method, patient can interact with the electronic devices which are in the specified range and intimate
people around them through speakers, using hand gestures. Flex sensors detects the movement of fingers which is
connected to microcontroller. Transmitting this data through ZigBee to another micro controller and will interact with the
electronic devices.
