An analysis of various fund provided by government for microfinance in kerala

Abstract

This paper is about the study of the Microfinance’s financial scheme. The schemes selected for this study was bank
linkage, revolving fund, Kudumbashree snehavedu, revolving fund, innovation fund, interest subsidy, community
investment fund, technology fund, crisis management fund, NRLM, Bavanashree. The focus was more on the awareness,
satisfaction, and improvement in the living standard. Through this study, we try to figure out the problems faced by the
Kudumbashree group in accruing such financial helps from government. The samples selected for the study is from the
Kollam district. The analysis shows that around the ten schemes, the members were aware only about either one or two
schemes. This shows that lack of awareness of the various Kudumbashree financial schemes is the causes for
inaccessibility of financial schemes, which affects it effective implementation.
