Abstract

The welfare of a nation depends on the health of its
citizens. Due to the increasing modern lifestyle, there
are a lot of diseases which are identified each and
every day. For catering a large population of India , it
becomes important to have a strong healthcare domain
which comes under the stringent quality parameters
set by the government. There is a growing
competition among the private hospitals in providing
healthcare service to the patients. It is important to
monitor and review the performance indicators for the
hospital and healthcare sector in order to sustain in the
competition. This paper discusses the various
performance indicators to acquire new patients as well
as retain the existing patients by providing better
service through the stakeholders of the organization.
