Abstract

This paper is intended to attempts to highlight the essential elements in the human body and elements useful in biological
activity. This paper also discuss the categories of elements available in the human body. It categorizes the elements as
major element, trace element and toxic elements. The human body is made up of over 92 different elements and we need
these elements widely in varying amounts to function of the body. The major, trace, toxic elements are assessed and their
presence, absence are studied so that the percent of the elements in the human body varies for each and individual person
and it is unique also. So this can be considered for biometric authentication. The main objective of this review is to
consider the elements or chemicals in the human body for biometric authentication .It also provides an overview of
elements and their effects on human health. The relationship between the elements and their concentrations are studied
