In Educational databases, it is more challenge to predict the student’s performance due to the large volume of data in
educational databases. The result of integrating technology into the classroom has brought in a significant change to the
regular classroom atmosphere. By adopting online learning systems, digital curricula and mobile devices, useful data,
increasingly referred to as “big data” because of its tremendous volume, variety, and speed. This data helps instructors,
administrators, curriculum managers, parents and students to make better decisions about teaching and learning. In this
paper reviews the recent applications of Big Data technologies using Program Evaluation Review Technique (PERT) in
education and presents a review of how to develop Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) for students
