Discussing the Cognitive Enhancement of Medication Obtaining Children with Learning Disability through Experiential Learning Theory

Abstract

Every individual is unique. Education should cater to the needs of all the individuals in fulfilment with the valid condition
of equal opportunity. There are three kinds of learners, Fast learner, Average Learner and slow learner. Generally teachers
teach according to the learners‟ speed. There are some individuals who, requires an appropriate instruction than usual way
of getting education. These individuals have Learning Disabilities. The children need the way they can pay attention and
learn. The paper focuses on make them learn through poetry because, Poems are good to deal with while students regularly
work on all skills simultaneously, even though they are not conscious about it sometimes. The structure of poetries makes
children easy to read while its rhyme makes them extremely unforgettable poetry incites children to express their personal
opinion which is great for learning. Poems are reliable material due to their attractive structure; rhythm and sound suggest a
quick way of learning new vocabulary, improving pronunciation and support creativity. The poetry taught through adopted
and modified techniques of David kolb‟s Experiential Learning Theory. These who are diagnosed with LD are regularly
taking medicine as per the direction of clinical psychiatrist. This paper also discusses does the drug affects their cognitive
process or not. The current paper attempted to enhance the children‟s cognition and learning ability.
