Abstract

Natural honeywas tested on Staphylococcus aureus strains isolated from soft white cheese to find out it is the effect on the
inhibition of it is virulence factors. Different honey concentrations were used to determine it is minimum inhibitory
concentration (MIC), Real-time PCR indicated that honey decreases the expression of each of AgrA and RNAIII genes
which are responsible from the expression of different virulence factors and biofilm formation by Staphylococcus aureus.
Additionally, honey has been found of acts on decreasing to the expression of each of enterotoxin A, enterotoxin B, AgrA,
RNAIII, DNase and hemolysins genes, biofilm formation and growth curve were also affected significantly.
