The Natural Law Theory and Its Implications

The present article deals with the concepts of natural law. The natural law includes the concepts of nature itself and it owes
its origin in the religion morals ethics customs. .The research article also covers the cardinal features of the natural law
school and phases of natural law which has been divided in four phases: the ancient natural law which has been developed
by– Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. The medieval natural law has been propounded by St. Thomas Acquinas. The renaissance
natural law or the social contract theories which are evolved by Hobbes, John Locke and Rousseau. The modern natural
law which is also called as the revival of natural law and many jurists have developed it but the present author has
examined the opinions of few jurists– Lon Fuller, H.L.A. Hart, Jerome Hall and Stammler. Further the articles also
includes the application of the concepts of natural in the present times.
