Abstract

Diabetic people make use of insulin injection as suggested by the doctor to regulate the normal glucose level in blood. It is
verified that a likelihood of insulin level optimally maintained in the patient's body. In such cases, the use of insulin
injection upsurges the insulin level beyond its normal level which may result in hyperglycemia due to increased absorption
of glucose in the blood. This situation can be prevented with the invention of a non-invasive device which intends to
monitor glucose levels constantly and prompts the patient to take the injection only when the insulin level falls below the
optimal range. The aim of our work is to give such a solution using near-infrared spectrometer sensor to monitor the level
of glucose.
