Abstract

Nowadays wireless sensor network plays a huge role in remote environment monitoring system and important key tool
which involves in this remote monitoring system is fault sensing which is almost a vital factor in many of the applications.
Most of the fault detection mechanisms fails in testing the nodes among with its neighbours of the same network and also
fails to exchange data mutually among the nodes. This can be rapidly pull downs the network performance which finally
results in false outputs from the monitoring environment. A well-known schemes such as distributed fault detection
algorithm and improved distributed fault detection algorithm also gives ideas for detecting fault in any remote location but
the accuracy of fault detection is lower in improved distributed fault detection algorithm and it is much lower in distributed
fault detection algorithm. This paper deals with enhanced widespread fault sensing algorithm which proposed new sensing
criteria’s and outperforms well in any remote monitoring situation and easily increases the fault sensing accuracy. The
results which are simulated helps in understanding the performance and demonstrating the enhanced widespread fault
sensing algorithm.
