Abstract

Traumatic injury in pelvic bone may cause patient mortality as pelvic fractures are collectively devastating. Visual
complexity in pelvic structure makes it challenging to delineate the fractures in that region. Recognition of pelvic injuries
is challenging due to the visual characteristic and complexity of fractures in that section. The presence of Neck of Femur
fracture in pelvic images can be detected by tracing the Shenton line in the image. In the proposed method features are
extracted by using statistical curve fitting and the classification of fracture is done by using classification learners.
