Abstract

Surgeons and doctors are regularly on the search for technologies that will improve their operating medical environment.
They are always the early adopters of the technologies that help their field to provide a better surgical and patient
environment. The continuous improvement of the operating environment in the evolving digital era has made many
innovations as a potential disruptive technology in the surgical workspace. Augmented reality is rapidly becoming
available, easily accessible and more affordable; hence their use in medical field to enhance the environment and medical
data is certain. After a surgery, it is a difficult task for the surgeons to monitor more than one patient at a time. Such issue
may be addressed by employing Augmented Reality. It is a technology which superimposes the computer-generated image
or data onto the real world view of the user, thus giving a composite view. The surgeon uses a Doctor assistive system,
which is an AR Glass that displays the patient’s data in a three dimensional view in real time. This system makes use of the
texture techniques which are dynamic and which are in paint for enhancing the performed modification’s visual response.
